I've seen Spider-Man bike sirens and Hulk bike sirens... neither of those made any sense to me. But a Batman bike siren? That does seem to make sense to me... after all, kids like to pretend their bikes are motorcycles, and there were Batcycles in the comics...
Ah, here's another AHI item, and it's one that doesn't really seem to fit the whole Batman concept. I mean, you're all Batman fans, right? Does Batman shoot anyone (at least, since Dick Grayson became Robin, anyway)? No. So does a Batman shooting gallery make any sense? Not from a conceptual viewpoint, anyway.
From a financial viewpoint, however, it probably sold well enough.
OK, this is probably the coolest of the modern-day Batman-related items... a reproduction of the famous Shakespeare bust that opens up and has a working remote control inside! Use it for whatever you need!
Unfortunately, it's ridiculously expensive.... way the heck outta my price range!
Hey, the Joker and the Penguin had their days... time for Edward Nigma's alter ego to get the spotlight!
This ceramic Riddler may have been a nightlight... it looks like similar nightlights produced of other Batman characters. I have to say, the position of the Riddler's right hand lends itself to making jokes that, fortunately, I am way above making.
At least, in this blog.
I'm guessing that the ceramic figure was supposed to be in this position, but they didn't quite carry it off that well. How many products used this same pose?
At least three, including this poster!
I know, I just posted this record the other day, but to be complete, here it is again!
Yep, the Riddler got his own puzzle, too... surprising that he's being shown as having the upper hand on the Dynamic Duo!
This Frank Gorshin Riddler record is another record I've heard about, but haven't had the pleasure of listening to!
This Peter Pan "Read and Hear" book and record set appears to be a reissue of their earlier Power Records version!
This Official Adventures of Batman and Robin record should be available to download on the net somewhere... I believe the stories on this record were actually adapted from comics stories, because I recognized a few of them, including one where Bruce Wayne marries Kathy (Batwoman) Kane!
This one should also be available on the net somewhere. Remember the figural record sleeves? I think this album was the compilation of those records. You know, the ones like this one:
I'm not sure who produced this record... if the photo was sharper, I could actually read what it says!
These Power Records must've been from near the end of that imprint's lifespan!
I've heard about this album, but have never heard it, if that makes any sense to you!
I'm guessing that of all the Batman albums I've posted photos of, aside from the actual TV soundtrack, this one probably has the most accurate recording of the theme!
This is another novelty Batman album I've heard about, but haven't ever listened to!
This one just looks odd -- at least the center illustration!
Did you know there were so many Batman albums produced in the 1960s?
The daily blog featuring photos of Batman-related merchandise going up through the 1970s, with a few 1980s items thrown in here and there! Your comments are welcomed!
Please note that I do not have any of these items for sale, and the vast majority of them are items I do not own at all. The photos were collected from eBay auctions over the years, and I wanted to share them with you all!
If you're interested in tracking down any of these items, I wish you luck, and hope that these posts help give you the information you need to find them offered on eBay! If you do purchase any of these items as a result of these posts, I'd love to hear about them -- and if you have better photos of anything I post here, I'd love to see them, too, and share them with my readers! You can email photos to me at waffyjon at comcast dot net. And if you link to a Batcave Trophy Room post, please let me know, and I'll add your blog to the blogroll!
