These figural Batman skates are just plain weird... heck, any figural skates are weird!

Super Hero Stamps!
Man, I feel like I've written this entry so many times before... and I have, actually, on the Superman, Captain America, Spider-Man and Fantastic Four blogs, at least... and maybe the Hulk one, too!
So... stamps that aren't really stamps, appealing to the comics collectors but not stamp collectors, lots of varieties, didn't make a big splash.
Shooting Gallery!
Ah, here's another AHI item, and it's one that doesn't really seem to fit the whole Batman concept. I mean, you're all Batman fans, right? Does Batman shoot anyone (at least, since Dick Grayson became Robin, anyway)? No. So does a Batman shooting gallery make any sense? Not from a conceptual viewpoint, anyway.
From a financial viewpoint, however, it probably sold well enough.

Robin Stuff, Day 3!
Happy Boxing Day! Here's more Robin merchandise!

It's not often that you see Robin driving the Batmobile on any licensed items, making this towel a neat treat!

This Robin t-shirt appears to use Hanna-Barbera's character model from the New Scooby-Doo Movies... or is that Filmation's model?

This Robin watch was made in Japan!

A better look at the figural Robin record sleeve!

The Revell reissue of the Aurora model kit!

Robin Items!
Hey, three of the big Bat-Villains had their day here, time for the Boy/Teen Wonder to get his turn in the spotlight!

I really like this wooden frame-tray puzzle from Playskool... I wish they still made these!

This Super Jrs. Robin is a squeeky toy!

This Robin figurine is one of those Argentina toys, probably made by Gulliver!

Robin ceramic bank!

Ceramic bookends... well, the Robin one, anyway!

Robin's prominently featured on this coloring book!

Dangler! Or jiggler, if you prefer that term.

Marx Toys license plate!

Mexican knock-off of the AHI paratrooper!

Riddler Goodies!
Hey, the Joker and the Penguin had their days... time for Edward Nigma's alter ego to get the spotlight!

This ceramic Riddler may have been a nightlight... it looks like similar nightlights produced of other Batman characters. I have to say, the position of the Riddler's right hand lends itself to making jokes that, fortunately, I am way above making.
At least, in this blog.

I'm guessing that the ceramic figure was supposed to be in this position, but they didn't quite carry it off that well. How many products used this same pose?

At least three, including this poster!

I know, I just posted this record the other day, but to be complete, here it is again!

Yep, the Riddler got his own puzzle, too... surprising that he's being shown as having the upper hand on the Dynamic Duo!

This Frank Gorshin Riddler record is another record I've heard about, but haven't had the pleasure of listening to!

Remco Bat-Toys!
Remco (a division of AHI) produced a fair number of Batman toys in the 60s and 70s...

I'm pretty sure this Batmobile was released under both the Remco and AHI imprints at different times!

I believe this flashlight was marketed as a "Bat-Ray" by Remco!

Here's a couple of other Bat-guns made by Remco... don't know what they shot, if anything!

Remco even made a Batman kite! I wonder if the kite itself had better art than the bag it was sold in?

Batman Records!
Time for another bunch of Batman records!

This Peter Pan "Read and Hear" book and record set appears to be a reissue of their earlier Power Records version!

This Official Adventures of Batman and Robin record should be available to download on the net somewhere... I believe the stories on this record were actually adapted from comics stories, because I recognized a few of them, including one where Bruce Wayne marries Kathy (Batwoman) Kane!

This one should also be available on the net somewhere. Remember the figural record sleeves? I think this album was the compilation of those records. You know, the ones like this one:

I'm not sure who produced this record... if the photo was sharper, I could actually read what it says!

These Power Records must've been from near the end of that imprint's lifespan!

I've heard about this album, but have never heard it, if that makes any sense to you!

I'm guessing that of all the Batman albums I've posted photos of, aside from the actual TV soundtrack, this one probably has the most accurate recording of the theme!

This is another novelty Batman album I've heard about, but haven't ever listened to!

This one just looks odd -- at least the center illustration!

Did you know there were so many Batman albums produced in the 1960s?
