This was the first reissue of Aurora's 1960s kits... this time around, they added a comic book that had the instructions printed in it, and one big splash page of the book served as a backdrop for the model!
These same kits were reissued later as "Super Powers" items, and again in the 1990s by Monogram or Revell, I forget which.
