Whenever I come across Underoos like these, I can't help but think how many adult comics fans out there wish these were made in a size their girlfriends or wives could wear for them!
If you can't get those Batman slippers I posted photos of a while back, I'd imagine these would keep your feet warm... if they can fit your feet, anyway!
Amsco produced the Superbabies toys in the 1970s, although in other countries, Marx had the license.
I can't help, though, when seeing the box with the blurb saying, "I'm Baby Batman," I always think to myself (because it would be weird to say it out loud), "No, you're not.. you're blond, and Batman/Bruce Wayne has black hair."
This Stain Painting set, as you can see, was produced as part of the whole Super Powers merchandising blitz of the 1980s. I'm not really certain what "Stain Painting" is, myself!
While Batman, Robin, and other characters from the Batman titles dominate this batch of puffy stickers, if you look close, you'll see a few Superman and Aquaman stickers, too!
I'm sure these stickers weren't licensed... but they don't exactly say "Batman," do they?
Click on this image for super-size viewing and look at the parachutist... obviously, it's intended to be Batman, even if the toy is called "Robot Raiders"!
This 1966 book should really be reissued... it's a great papercraft concept, and I keep hoping I'll stumble upon some blog or website where someone's scanned the pages so I can print 'em out and build these things myself!
The daily blog featuring photos of Batman-related merchandise going up through the 1970s, with a few 1980s items thrown in here and there! Your comments are welcomed!
Please note that I do not have any of these items for sale, and the vast majority of them are items I do not own at all. The photos were collected from eBay auctions over the years, and I wanted to share them with you all!
If you're interested in tracking down any of these items, I wish you luck, and hope that these posts help give you the information you need to find them offered on eBay! If you do purchase any of these items as a result of these posts, I'd love to hear about them -- and if you have better photos of anything I post here, I'd love to see them, too, and share them with my readers! You can email photos to me at waffyjon at comcast dot net. And if you link to a Batcave Trophy Room post, please let me know, and I'll add your blog to the blogroll!
