Happy Halloween!

Here's an ultra-cheap Batman costume, probably a knockoff of some kind... or maybe not:

Foreign Paperback Book!

batman_foreignpaperback.JPG

Not sure which country produced this Batman paperback book, or even if it was a novel based on the tv show or movie, or if it was reprints of the comics (the older-styled Batman logo makes me wonder about that).

Board Games!

Time for a look at a couple of Batman Board Games!

batman_game73

This one's from 1973, and I believe it's a reissue of a 1960s game with some new art.

batman_gamehasbro67

I think I've posted a photo of the 1967 Hasbro game before, but here it is again!

CSF Batcopter!

batman_flyingbatcopter

I always loved these kind of toys, which seem to have all come out and disappeared in an all-too-brief period of time! I believe I'll have more photos of this to share in the future.

Figural Bank!

batman_figbank.JPG

I suspect this was another of the ubiquitous Mego banks of the 1970s, just because of the molded Batman logo on the base.

Remco Powerized Batman!

Have I posted photos of this before? Well, here's some more...

batman_energized

batman_energized2.jpg

I'm not sure why Remco thought that Batman's eyes and insignia needed to glow, but let's face it, the fact that the figure wasn't poseable, and basically was a winch for the Batline... I guess something had to be added to it!

Davco Framed Picture!

batman_davcopic

The seller of this framed picture said it was manufactured by Davco, a company I'd never heard of. It's a nice piece, though!

Crimefighter Set!

batman_crimefighterset

I think I've shown this rack toy in an assortment photo before... here's a better look at it!

1960s Cup!

I love it that you're rewarded for drinking all your milk by seeing the Batman picture in the bottom!

Corgi Juniors!!

batman_corgijrbatcopter.jpg
batman_corgijrgiftpack.JPG
batman_corgijunior_card

I guess that Corgi used the "Corgi Junior" imprint for their vehicles that were more Hot Wheels/Matchbox scale!

Here's a bonus Corgi item... a Penguinmobile!

Corgi Batbikes!

Always interesting to compare and contrast the different Bat-vehicles produced by the same company, eh?

Compass!

batman_compass

Just what Batman would use if he were lost in the woods, in those pre-GPS days...

Here's a whole bunch of Batman coloring books through the ages!

batman_crayonbynumber

I remember these... pretty sweet!

Chemtoy Figurine!

batman_chemtoy

Kind of wish these were being sold in the Dollar Stores these days, because it's a nice piece!

Bat-Cave Maze Game!

batman_cavemaze.jpg

Here's a clever reworking of a standard toy to fit the Batman theme, eh?

Saturday, October 16, 2010

Batman Bread Bag!

batman_breadbag

Ah, if only they still made Batman Bread, you could get yourself a jar of Superman Peanut Butter (do they even make that anymore) and have yourself the World's Finest Sandwich!

Bolo Ties!

batman_boloties.jpg

Why Batman Bolo Ties? Perhaps all the other good licensed item ideas were taken by this point.

Bike License Plates!

batman_bikelicense

Marx Toys was the producer of these bike license plates.

1965 Batman Playset!

batman_bencooper65playset.jpg

I'm guessing this was a Ben Cooper item consisting of the mask and cape from their Halloween costume!

Tuesday, October 12, 2010

Bat-Safe!

batman_batsafe.JPG

No idea who made this one, but it's got to be a 1970s toy!

Monday, October 11, 2010

Argentina Batmobile!

batman_batmobargentina.JPG

Pretty lacking in details, but it's not a bad Batmobile toy! Consider it a taste of what you'll see over the next bunch of days as I begin a parade of Batmobiles!

South American Batcopter!

batman_baticoptero

Not sure why this wasn't sorted with the other Batcopter toys from a few days back!

Saturday, October 9, 2010

Argentina Batboat!

batman_batboat_argentina

Well, this may not match the TV show's Batboat, but I have to say, I like it!

Friday, October 8, 2010

Badge!

batman_badge

Not sure where this came from, or when it was made... wish I had a better picture of it!

Thursday, October 7, 2010

Aurora Model Kits!

batman_aurorabatcycle.JPG

batman_auroramodelbuilt

I don't know why the builder of this kit put dots in Batman's eyes... makes it look weird to me!

AHI Batmobiles!

Let's get a few Batmobiles in today, shall we?

batman_ahircbatmobile.JPG

I'm not sure why this RC Batmobile has a fully-enclosed cockpit...

batman_ahircbatmobile.JPG

...especially when this loose remote control one doesn't. Of course, this one is missing Batman, but that's another thing entirely.

AHI Saucer Gun and Squirt Gun!

batman_ahisaucergun

batman_ahisaucergun

I'm not sure how AHI decided on the shape for this saucer gun... they used the same basic design for their Batman squirt gun, as I recall.

batman_ahisquirtgun.JPG

See what I mean?

I'm also not sure what AHI thought they were doing with this... I mean, Batman doesn't use guns -- at least, not regular guns, anyway, the lethal variety -- but I can't see Batman using something like this, either!
