    Very cool. I don't think I've ever seen that one before. Alps made some wonderful toys...

    It's actually not a wind-up, but friction powered. There is a key that fits into the antenna that when the car is moving you yank it out moving the antenna back and the car speeds up, like shifting!

    Televex, thanks -- the person selling it on eBay identified it as a wind-up, so that's what I went with!
